You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…
Bodega @ Rough Trade
NYC band Bodega’s Endless Scroll is one of the year’s best debuts: hooky, smart, playful, danceable, and always with something to say. The album’s out Friday but they’re celebrating at this free show. 7 PM set time.
JG Thirlwell’s Xordox with Simon Hanyes & Faten Kanaan @ Secret Project Robot
Foetus svengalie JG Thirlwell presents his new synth project Xordox, a collaboration between himself and Simon Haynes. They’ve been opening for The The on the other side of the Atlantic.
The Men, Giant Peach, Little Racer @ Elsewhere
Shape-shifting Brooklyn punks returned this year with Drift, which is yet another change in direction for the band. They’re playing a hometown show tonight with direct support from local indie-punks Giant Peach.
Butterboy with Jo, Aparna and Maeve @ Littlefield
Tonight’s edition of Butterboy welcomes comedians Sam Morril, Erin Jackson, Raghav Mehta, Clare Austen-Smith, Brian Babylon, and Nour Hadidi.
